SHULIN Teaware · Our Story
Room for light.
Time for tea.
Thoughtful teaware, inspired by nature.
A little space for everyday tea.
A small ritual, with room for more
Good things begin
with a little attention.
The weight of a cup in the hand. The curve of a lid. The way warm tea catches the afternoon light. We believe these small details can change how an ordinary moment feels.
SHULIN (疏林) evokes an open woodland, with light and space between the trees. It is an image that guides our approach: natural textures, thoughtful forms, and room to notice the small details. Inspired by Chinese tea culture, we invite you to make a little space for tea in everyday life.
The meaning of our mark
Strength, held
with humility.
Our six-line emblem takes its form from Qian (谦), the fifteenth hexagram of the Book of Changes. With earth above mountain, it offers an image of humility: strength held quietly, with room for others.
Five broken lines frame a single unbroken line, highlighted in vermilion. The warm accent brings focus to the composition; the open spaces give it a calm, measured rhythm.
For SHULIN, this is a reminder to approach tea with attention and an open mind. Listen before speaking. Pour with care. Leave room for another cup. It sits naturally beside the open woodland of our name: a sense of space, a grounded presence, and the quiet pleasure of sharing something simple.
The care behind the form
Objects to notice.
And to use.
We are drawn to the meeting of material, shape, and purpose: the quiet texture of clay, the balance of a vessel, the comfort of a cup held between two hands.
For us, beauty belongs in the everyday. A thoughtful silhouette and a comfortable pour matter as much as the way a piece looks on a shelf. The teaware we love invites you to pick it up, put the kettle on, and make it part of your day.
Clay, water, time — the language of teaware.
01 / Tradition
A living tea culture.
A small pot and a few cups can turn a conversation into an occasion. Inspired by the generosity of Chinese tea culture, we welcome curiosity and the pleasure of bringing someone to the table. Let your own ritual take shape, one cup at a time.
02 / Nature
Light between the trees.
Soft greens, warm earth, the grain of wood, light falling through leaves. Nature gives us a language of colour, proportion, and texture. We return to these details for their quiet beauty and the ease with which they belong in everyday life.
03 / Everyday
Meaning through use.
A favourite cup becomes familiar through repetition. It belongs to the first tea of the morning, the visitor who stays a little longer, the pause before the day begins again. We hope you find pieces that feel at home in your hands.
A little space in the everyday
Make room for tea.
Choose a cup. Put the kettle on. Sit somewhere you enjoy.
Give the moment a little time, and let it become your own.
Rooted in nature. Part of your day. SHULIN Teaware.
